Our Web Design Process

website design processJust putting a website on the internet is not likely to yield any better results for your business than driving down the road and throwing your business cards out the window. A profitable internet marketing campaign starts with setting goals and formulating a plan to achieve said goals. Here’s how we help you achieve your goals:

Assessment

Our first step in our process is to meet with you to discuss your specific needs and goals for your website. We’ll use this time to gather information that will be used on the website, such as key information about your business, products and services, your target niche within your industry, and information about who is your ideal customer. We’ll find what sets you apart from your competition, and how we can best position your site to take advantage of it.

Research

Once we’ve gathered enough facts and data about your business, we’ll start to research which key words and terms we should target for ranking in the search engines. We’ll also find the best available domain name to use for your business, as well as ideal titles for interior site pages.

Design

At this point, we’ll layout a site design that will be attractive to your potential customers and give your business the image you’re looking to portray to the public. We’ll design the site to be easy to navigate, and tie together, as well.

Development

Once the assessment, research, and design are complete, it time to put it all together. We’ll build your website with usability as a prime feature, but also be sure it’s properly coded and optimized to rank well in the major search engines. We’ll customize the site with any photos or verbiage you would like to see included. We’ll also be sure to test your site on all of the internet browsers to make sure that it doesn’t just look right on Internet Explorer, but also Firefox, Chrome, Opera, etc.

Approval

Once the site is completed, we’ll submit it to you for your approval. Should there be changes needed, we’ll take care of the them and re-submit it to you until you’re satisfied. Once you’re satisfied with your site, we will publish it live on your domain, and make sure it’s indexed into the major search engines. We’ll also set up your custom email addresses, and take care of any extras that were necessary to meet your needs.

Ongoing Support

Once your site is live, we’ll handle the hosting, domain renewals, and routine maintenance on your site. We’ll take care of any changes you would like to make to your site. We also keep your site backed up and will restore it, should your site have any problems down the road. At this point, we’ll also be working on site ranking improvement, and any other marketing work you need.

    That will vary greatly depending upon how many individual product you’re selling, if the products have multiple options, and other functionality you may require. We’ve built some ecommerce sites that only took a few days, and we’ve had others take a few months.
